Vendor and Payment Terms

For vendors: free invoicing, Vendor Pro, and the proposed terms for payments processed through Herd Bond.

Free for vendors

Vendors can create a profile, receive inquiries, send quotes, proposals, contracts and invoices, and message couples and planners for free. Sending invoices never requires Vendor Pro.

Couples and planners never have to ask vendors to join Herd Bond; they can upload a vendor's invoices and documents themselves.

Vendor Pro

Vendor Pro: $29 per month (proposed) for business tools such as inquiry management, proposal templates, scheduling, analytics and automatic reminders. These features are still being built. No additional Herd Bond percentage-based platform fee is proposed on eligible payments processed through Herd Bond on Pro; standard payment-processing fees still apply.

What vendors can see

Only the weddings they're working on, their own invoices and payment status, their conversations, and the documents, boards and schedules a couple chooses to share. Never a couple's budget, guest list or other vendors.

Invoices

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their invoices. Couples review every invoice before it's added to their budget and can dispute it. An invoice is never marked paid until the couple records a payment, or a payment through Herd Bond is confirmed.

Payments through Herd Bond (not available yet)

Proposed: couples may pay vendors through Herd Bond with a third-party payment provider. The proposed Herd Bond platform fee is 1% of eligible payments actually processed through Herd Bond, plus the provider's processing charges.

No fee is charged on invoices that are uploaded or paid any other way.

[Payouts, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, fee disclosures, identity verification and other provider and legal requirements to be finalized before payments are switched on.]
