Privacy Policy

What information Herd Bond Suite collects, how it's used and shared, how long it's kept, and the choices people have.

What we collect

Account details: name, email and sign-in information.

Wedding information you add: dates, venues, budgets, contracts, invoices, receipts, tasks, timelines, seating, vision boards and website content.

Guest information couples add: names, households, RSVPs, meal choices, dietary notes and, if entered, contact details.

Vendor and planner business details, and messages sent in the app.

Basic usage and device information to keep the service working and secure. [Analytics tools, if any, to be listed.]

How we use it

To run the service for you and the people you share a wedding with, keep it secure, and support you when you ask for help.

We don't sell personal information. [Confirm, and review advertising and analytics practices, with counsel.]

Who can see it

Only people you invite, and only what you share with them. Vendors never see your budget, guest list or other vendors.

Guests only see your public website and their own invitation.

Service providers that host and run the service on our behalf. [List of providers to be confirmed: hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, payments, AI processing.]

Herd Bond staff don't have standing access to wedding data. Support access needs your request or a documented need, is time-limited and read-only, and is logged. [Policy to be finalized.]

AI processing

When you use AI features, the relevant content (for example, an uploaded invoice or your design prompt) is sent to an AI provider to produce a result. [Provider, its data retention terms, and whether customer content may be used for model training to be confirmed in the provider contract before launch.]

How long we keep it

[Retention schedule to be decided: active weddings, the period after the wedding date, Wedding Pass end, cancelled accounts, backups and audit logs.]

Uploaded originals are kept unchanged until the wedding or account is deleted, so financial records can always be traced back to their source.

Your choices

Download a copy of your wedding data, correct it, change who can see it, or ask for deletion from Sharing & privacy.

[Rights under laws that may apply, such as state privacy laws or the GDPR, and how to exercise them, to be confirmed by counsel.]

Security

Planned measures include encryption in transit and at rest, private file storage with short-lived links, separation of each wedding's data enforced by the database, access logging for sensitive actions, and backups. These are being built and are described here as goals, not guarantees. [Incident notification process to be drafted.]

Children

Herd Bond isn't intended for children to use. Couples may add guests who are children; please add only what's needed (for example a name and meal choice). [Age threshold and requirements to be confirmed by counsel.]

Contact

[Privacy contact address to be confirmed.]
